Morphology

A pristine white spherical fruitbody 4–5 cm, densely covered in sharp conical spines, sitting on a bright green moss cushion.

Habitat & substrate

Deep moss over rock.

Notes

Third separate puffball of the day. Compare directly with the earthballs at TM0002 and TM0056 — this is what a true puffball looks like.
