Angles captured. Four frames, two looking up at the gills.

Morphology

Cap 6–7 cm, pale pinkish-lilac, plane with a low umbo. Gills pinkish-brown, close. Stipe pale, cylindrical.

Habitat & substrate

Leaf litter among boulders.

Lookalikes & what rules them out

Laccaria has thick, distant, waxy gills; Cortinarius thinner and closer with a rusty print. Several frames here show close thin gills with a dull pinkish-brown cast, favouring Cortinarius.

Notes

Paler than the rest — possibly a faded older fruitbody.
