Morphology

Cap 5–6 cm, pale cream to buff, plane with a low umbo, smooth. Stipe pale, slender, arising from moss on a large log.

Habitat & substrate

On and beside a mossy fallen log, pine needles below.

Lookalikes & what rules them out

Not resolvable from the angles shown.

Notes

Split from the white-capped entry — a different mushroom on a different substrate ten minutes later.
