Home / Pale agarics on wood / TM0075
Unidentified agaric Uncertain
Angles captured. Three frames — one from the outward leg of the walk, two on the return 35 minutes later.
Cap 7–8 cm, pale grey-buff, broadly funnel-shaped. Gills pale grey, crowded and strongly decurrent, clearly visible from below. Stipe white, tapering.
Leaf litter on level ground.
Crowded decurrent gills in a grey funnel suggest Clitocybe — possibly the same species as TM0066 at a later stage.
Spore print and smell.
Another spot passed twice on the loop: #4452 was taken 35 minutes before the close-ups. Worth comparing with TM0066.
Found at Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary, Princeton, MA on Saturday, 8 August 2026 at 09:48. See the full walk for that day's weather and everything else recorded.
