Pale mushrooms on one fallen log

Angles captured. Four frames working around the log — base, side and cut end.
Morphology
One log carrying fruitbodies on three faces. On the sawn end, shelving clusters of pale cream to buff fan-shaped caps 2–6 cm with inrolled wavy margins, attached laterally with little or no stipe. Along the side, a row of smaller white caps 1–3 cm. At the base, tight clusters of small white fruitbodies in the litter.
Habitat & substrate
A single large fallen hardwood log, sawn at one end. Saprotrophic.
Lookalikes & what rules them out
Laterally attached, stipeless, pale, with gills running down to the attachment — Pleurotus is the obvious candidate, with Crepidotus and young Panellus as alternatives.
To confirm this identification
Spore print colour. Crepidotus prints brown; Pleurotus white to lilac.
