Cap 5–7 cm, warm ochre to tawny, dry and velvety, convex. Stipe pale cream-yellow, slender, smooth.
Oak leaf litter on a slope.
Build suggests Xerocomellus or a small Boletus; the pore surface is never shown.
Photograph the pores and check for blueing.
